Hi, I'm Aila James, mostly known as Uzuri. I am a freelance illustrator based in the US.
My work primarily focuses on film and television, and I am always eager to portray the characters and stories I love through art.
I’ve been featured in Star Wars Insider, showcased on the front page of Tumblr multiple times, and have been highlighted by Nickelodeon, Screenrant, and Inktober. I’ve had shout-outs and response from Star Wars, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Vincent D’Onfrio, Richard E. Grant, Tony Leung, BossLogic, and many others.
I have created official artwork for Topps as well as Ravensburger for their licensed board game, Star Wars Villainous. I have worked with many clients for character art, concept work, as well as personal projects.
