Bio
Hello, my name is Diana and I am an aspiring Digital Painting Artist based in Timisoara, Romania.
My creative journey started when I started classes at a high art school in 2009. Then I went to an art faculty and I have a bachelor's degree in visual arts since 2016.
My career in visual arts didn’t start immediately after my graduation, because I had to support myself with something. While I was working in a different field, my thoughts were still on art.
In 2019 I resumed art after a while and invested more time in it.
At the beginning of my art career, my works were hand-crafted using traditional inking, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, and charcoal techniques inspired by Japanese Art, Frank Miller, and Frank Frazetta, with occasional digital manipulations where often other details would be added.
Lately, I have been developing my digital painting art skills using a Cintiq-Wacom tablet and Photoshop.
In my artworks, I try to capture the very essence of beauty in the dark and the macabre.
I worked as a graphic designer, technical writer/multimedia designer, marketing specialist, and web content manager.
At the moment I am working as a web content manager, to support myself, but I want to make a switch career in concept art.
