Bio

I am a visual development and concept artist, originally from Sarasota Florida. After spending the past year in Davis, CA, I have moved to LA for a career in the entertainment industry. I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. Since then, I have worked for several designers, taught traditional art in public schools, and worked at the Society of Illustrators in NYC. Over the past few years, I have experienced a shift in my interests and am transitioning from industrial design to concept art and visual development. I've spent hundreds of hours of atelier training in academic realism at the Art Students League in NYC and at online schools, like ArtStation Masterclasses and Schoolism, to sharpen my skills. I have also been developing a freelance practice of design, illustration and plein-air painting. After 10 years of living in New York City, I spent the past 2 years traveling to residency centers in Florida, Montana, Mexico, and Guatemala. In moving to LA, I am following through on my goal of initiating a career in the entertainment industry.
