Maira Valentim
Bio
I am Maíra Valentim, a concept artist and illustrator born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, currently living in Vancouver, Canada.
I studied Graphic Design at Centro Universitário Belas Artes where I got a bachelor's degree in 2011. Since then I started working as a 3D artist and illustrator for several studios in Brazil.
After working a couple of years in the advertising illustration industry, in 2018 I decided to go on a new adventure. I studied Animation Concept Art at Vancouver Film School, where I graduated in 2019.
Since then I fell in love with the concept art world for games and animation. I want to keep developing skills and my artistic sensibilities.
During my free time, I enjoy watching movies, riding my bike, listening to music, going to coffee shops to sketch people, or just enjoy the day outside.
