Hi There! Currently, I'm working at Macy's Parade Studio designing floats and balloons for the Thanksgiving Day Parade and was just contacted by an art director at Paramount, so hopefully starting some work with them soon.
For the past 3 years, I've been full-time freelance designing a wide range of characters, costumes, props, buildings, vehicles, and scenery to be used for the development of children’s (mostly) 3D animated series & toys. That all began when I was laid off after 10 years from a drafting and design job in residential architecture and I haven't looked back!
I find so much joy & passion in visual storytelling and creating characters and artwork for it is a challenge that’s extremely fulfilling to me. My only experience in this world has been freelance, and I don't want to be in too much of a bubble anymore. I'd like to start networking more and meet other people in the industry.
